Sam joined the Russell Eaton team in 2025, returning to her hometown of Barnsley after spending the past 20 years living and working in Norfolk. Bringing with her an incredible wealth of experience, Sam has enjoyed a successful hairdressing career spanning more than 35 years, building a reputation for her technical expertise, creativity, and genuinely welcoming approach with clients.
Throughout her career, Sam established and ran two successful salons on the North Norfolk coast, where she refined her passion for precision cutting and creative colouring. Her extensive experience working with both Wella and Aveda has allowed her to develop a beautifully versatile approach to colour, creating looks that feel natural, timeless, and effortlessly expressive while always tailored to each individual client.
Known for her thorough consultations and attention to detail, Sam takes great pride in truly understanding her clients’ lifestyles, personalities, and hair goals to deliver results that not only look beautiful in the salon but are easy to maintain at home. Her calm confidence, experience, and meticulous approach instantly put clients at ease, while her warm and chatty nature makes every appointment feel relaxed, enjoyable, and personal.
Outside of the salon, Sam has a huge passion for fashion, interior design, and the arts, drawing inspiration from colour, texture, and creativity in everyday life. Her love for style and aesthetics naturally feeds into her work behind the chair, giving her an eye for creating effortlessly sophisticated hair that feels modern, wearable, and beautifully considered.
