Rose Gold

THE HOTTEST HAIR COLOR TRENDS FOR A/W

If you’ve been contemplating a change in your hair colour for this autumn winter, don’t limit yourself to one shade. The season’s hottest new shades are multi-tonal—think sun-kissed blonde with deeper honey undertones, hazelnut brown spun with fine streaks of gold and copper enhanced with dark woody layers. The look is highly individualised, in keeping with this A/W catwalk themes, and makes for hair that’s rich and uniquely chic. To achieve the effect our team of colour experts at Russell eaton Leeds and Barnsley use Wella professionals Illumina colour the perfect modern hair colour created to give mull tonal shimmering colour results whatever the tone you are.

Rose Gold is back from the past taking the world by storm. A mix of copper and white gold, there is actually no “natural” rose gold.  Rose gold is different and fun and looks great with a tan or especially with people that have pinkish undertones in their skin. Jewellery and make-up aside, however, there is a new trend of rose gold hair!!

Most of you are probably thinking you should shy away from any sort of gold, yellow or orange in their hair, but perhaps in the trappings of the latest trend we will see more of you embracing it. After all it has been this new summers hottest hair colour story and now the Rose gold colour trend is one that has transcended both spring summer and now moves into winter 2013 with an amazing blend of colours for both blondes and brunettes.

Robert Eaton creative director at Russell Eaton revealed that rose gold is the colour of the moment "It’s been a hot trend in jewellery for awhile, and it’s definitely become a trend in hair colour as well." So, how do we master this look? "Ask your Russell Eaton colourist to spice up your colour by alternating a golden blonde with a light strawberry-red highlight along side a fine vail of peach pink" Whether its in fine slices or fails of colour or as a Balayage or if you’re up for a root-to-tip change, "Go with a rose gold base colour and add in some expertly placed blonde to make the colour really shimmer."

"We are loving this new pallet of colours this year and as we move into A/W we are using these colours not only in Blondes but in varying brunette shades as well, here is a selection of our favourites…"
